An exciting opportunity has arisen for a midwife to join our antenatal clinic and day assessment team for a period of maternity cover. Our midwives aim to provide the highest standards of antenatal care and support to women and their families who may be experiencing more complex pregnancies.
We are looking for an enthusiastic midwife to join our small antenatal/day assessment unit team. The individual should be passionate about providing high quality evidence-based antenatal care. We are looking for someone who can work well in a team and also as an individual.

Providewoman-centred, safe, effective and compassionate midwifery care for women and their families throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.Work autonomously to support all women with their birth choices, recognising when input from Obstetricians and other health professionals is needed and referring appropriately.Practice in accordance with the NMC code of professional conduct.
The role of maternity services is to achieve high quality, evidence based care in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:
Standard Check: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
Enhanced Check: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
