What You Will Do
You must be a newly qualified Midwife having current registration or registration pending for 2025 with the Nursing and Midwifery Council being an essential requirement along with a full driving licence.
As well as being based at Ayrshire Maternity Unit, for the provision of safe and effective midwifery care in the hospital setting which includes Maternity Assessment Unit, Early Pregnancy Assessment Suite, Labour Ward, Midwifery Suite these posts will also include the Community Midwifery Teams including the homebirth team.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
- Registered midwife with post registered experience
- Educated to degree / diploma level or with equivalent professional experience
- You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and multi-disciplinary team working with up to date knowledge of all Maternity National Initiatives.

Hours
The positions available are for fixed term posts for 18 months at 36 hours per week.

UK Car licence is essential to this role.
