Job description

OVERVIEW

Defence needs to replace the existing Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) contract in 2028.

LCST provides sourcing and procurement for approximately 70,000 NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs), such as medical supplies and clothing. It also manages warehousing and distribution for a larger portion of the Defence inventory, which includes over 207,000 NSNs. Replacing this contract is a top priority for Joint Support Enablers to prevent capability gaps, as highlighted in capability reports.

Future Defence Support Services (FDSS) aims to address current limitations by expanding scope to achieve greater economies of scale and Category Management benefits. These enhancements will support increased resilience, agility, and scalability aligned with the latest Defence Planning Assumptions (DPAs).
