Job description

The role will be performed in the LCC (Logistics Control Centre) in Donnington as an integral part of the Control Tower team.

Your Role

The Integrated Logistics Operations Specialist ensures daily execution of the services in scope and interacts with relevant counterparts of the involved parties for all services in scope.The individual will learn in depth about the role, services and processes through involvement and performing system testing and work instructions creation.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate specialized transport services for customer orders using Oracle Transport Management (OTM) and manual planning.
• Develop cost-effective transport plans by optimizing the use of company-owned vehicles and subcontracted haulage.
• Ensure timely and complete pick-up and delivery by aligning with logistics service providers.
• Choose appropriate transport modes and logistics partners based on predefined selection criteria.
• Balance operational efficiency with cost control in transport planning.
• Monitor and adjust transport schedules to meet service level agreements.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Use both automated systems and manual oversight to manage complex transport requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Transport/planning knowledge and experience
• Experience of Transport Management Systems would be an advantage
• Good proficiency in full suite of Microsoft Office
