Main duties of the job

NHS 111 Wales is advancing urgent and emergency care through online and telephone services.

Our multidisciplinary team includes Call Handlers, Nurses, Paramedics, Data Analysts, GPs, Pharmacists, and Mental Health Practitioners.

You will use your clinical assessment skills to advise patients with minor to complex urgent conditions, honing remote clinical decision-making skills.

As a Band 6 Triage and Assessment nurse, you will have decision-making autonomy, supported by senior clinicians and multidisciplinary colleagues.

Our teams work closely with urgent care GPs and pharmacists to meet Wales' urgent care needs, making a significant impact on patient health.
