Kepak Group in Merthyr Tydfil is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to lead the retail supply chain operations. The role focuses on end-to-end planning, forecasting, inventory control, and production scheduling within a busy site.

The successful candidate will oversee supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement, and ensure health, safety and development of the supply chain team while contributing to sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail supply chain management within the meat, food or FMCG industry.
• Strong planning, forecasting, and inventory management skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage supply chain operations for the retail business unit.
• Oversee supplier relationships and group purchasing aligned with Kepak group strategy.
• Execute divisional supply chain strategy and drive continuous improvement, waste reduction and sustainability goals.
• Lead the supply chain team with emphasis on health, safety, wellbeing and development.
• Provide end-to-end planning: demand, inventory, materials, and production, with robust reporting.

Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods.

Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfilhas combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to work on our busy Merthyr Tydfil site. This is a permanent, full time position which has occasional travel requirements and a competitive salary.

• To manage supply chain operations for the retail business unit, ensuring accurate forecast reporting and aggregation, E2E production planning, materials planning, inventory management and achievement of customer service levels in accordance with customer and business requirements.

• Oversees materials supplier day-to-day relationships in conjunction with group purchasing
• Executes divisional supply chain strategy within the retail business unit and contributes to continuous improvement, waste reduction and sustainability goals

• Responsible for the health, safety, wellbeing and development of the supply chain team in line with the group people strategy
