Great Opportunity: Intake Stock Controller

Staffline is recruiting for an Intake Stock Controller for day shifts in Alconbury. This role involves working for one of the largest providers of fresh flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK.

Pay and Shift Details
  • The pay rate is £X per hour during the day shift and £Y per hour for overtime.
  • This is a full-time position with a shift pattern of 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off.
  • The working hours are from 6am to 6pm. Please note, these hours may change to meet business needs.
Your Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
  • Manage stock flow proactively to and from the store area.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and promote a clean-as-you-go policy.
  • Apply correct manual handling techniques.
  • Ensure stock accuracy on site to agreed levels.
  • Conduct daily free space and perpetual stock checks, analyze findings, and provide feedback.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies as needed.
  • Identify process improvements to maximize stock availability.
  • Perform weekly stock counts.
Ideal Candidate
  • Comfortable working in a chilled environment (~3°C).
  • Capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and basic maths.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience or knowledge in warehouse stock management is preferred.
