Job summary

MPA Recruitment is seeking an Intake Operator for a local food manufacturing site in Armagh. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming raw materials to ensure quality and food safety standards are met.

Forklift experience is advantageous, training will be provided, and there is potential for permanent employment upon successful completion of training. The role runs 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping abilities.
• Forklift experience or a valid licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to learn, with full training provided.
• Previous warehouse or food manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and log incoming raw material deliveries.
• Verify quantities, quality, batch numbers and delivery documentation.
• Accurately record and log incoming stock.
• Ensure materials are stored correctly and safely.
• Assist with moving materials using a forklift, once trained and authorised.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Keep intake and storage areas clean and organised.

Location: Armagh
Contract: Temporary, with potential for permanent employment
Hours: 40-45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 6am and 6pm
Pay: £13.00 per hour, with a pay review following successful completion of training.

About the Role
