About the role

You will be joining a team that is developing its services to support a bespoke strength-based approach. You will be responsible for managing and developing effective service delivery to Children, Young People, and their Families.

You will play a key role in ensuring the present and future effectiveness of Social Services within the Council, particularly in developing an identified area of service in line with relevant Divisional/Directorate Council Plans and Strategies, national standards, and statutory and legislative requirements.

About the team

You need a master's degree in Social Work and extensive post-qualifying experience in Children's Social Work, Child Protection, Safeguarding, Children in Need, and an understanding of Therapeutic Parenting is desirable. An advanced knowledge in one or more practice areas and significant management experience are essential.
