Job summary

Retail Insights in London seeks a Chief Editor to own and shape its physical magazine, researching industry stories, conducting interviews, and guiding copywriting, editing and design with the help of a Graphic Designer.

You will work from our London HQ, Monday to Friday, with no remote options; a bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field and 5+ years in magazine/media, plus an UK work permit, are required; we offer a path to growth and potential internal promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a magazine or media company.
• Strong writing, editing and creative skills are essential.
• UK work permit is required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly research industry topics and ideas for stories and articles.
• Interview relevant people for magazine features.
• Copywrite, write, edit and proofread content for our magazines.
• Construct magazines including photos, design and artwork with support from the Graphic Designer.
