Harrison Holgate is hiring a Technical Reporting Accountant in London for a 12‑month FTC. You will own the technical close for insurance results under UK GAAP and IFRS 17, and produce comprehensive quarterly packs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 3–5 years in insurance accounting and reporting.
• Experience delivering IFRS and UK GAAP technical closes.
• Strong Excel skills for MI reporting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical close process and prepare monthly/ quarterly insurance results.
• Produce quarterly closing packs and analyse variances and unusual movements.
• Drive process improvements in financial reporting and system changes.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Lead or support ongoing reporting projects to improve controls.
