Job summary

IBU is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect in London to lead end-to-end architecture across insurance platforms and legacy systems. You will assess current landscapes, define transition architectures, and drive modernization efforts in collaboration with business and IT teams.

You will guide de-risking and remediation plans, evaluate multi-system integrations, and shape strategic roadmaps to reduce risk and enable future-state architecture for the London Market.

• Strong End-to-End Solution Architecture background with excellent solutioning capabilities.
• Strong insurance domain knowledge and understanding of insurance PAS platforms and London Market systems.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end integrations, assess landscape dependencies and defining transition architectures.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration with architecture, business, delivery, and support teams.
• Assess the current application landscape, technical debt, operational risks, and integration dependencies.
• Develop strategic options, timelines, and recommendations for modernization, migration, coexistence, and decommissioning activities.
• Lead the de-risking of legacy systems and recommend remediation plans on investigating ongoing incidents, operational issues, and risks associated with legacy applications.
• Evaluate integrations across multiple systems and ensure alignment with future-state architecture.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand complex insurance processes and application dependencies.
• Produce a detailed roadmap of improvements, risk reduction activities and modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate alternative strategic options and strategic planning capabilities.
