Job summary

eNL is seeking an Insurance Solicitor in London on a hybrid basis to handle high-value insurance disputes, with exposure to international matters and cross-border advisory work for major London Market insurers and reinsurers.

Applications from solicitors with 6+ years of PQE, strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence are welcome; reinsurance expertise is essential, with an emphasis on the London Market. Hybrid model: 2 days in the office, 3 days at home.

Qualifications

• Applications welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 6 years PQE and strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence work.
• Reinsurance experience is essential, together with a strong understanding of the London Market and the relationships between insurers, reinsurers, brokers and legal advisers.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to client relationship management, business development and wider team initiatives will be highly advantageous.

Overview

• Manage a varied caseload of high value insurance disputes, advising on policy coverage, indemnity and liability issues, reinsurance disputes and wider strategic advisory matters.

• On offer is a salary of up to circa GBP 90,000 DOE, together with hybrid working arrangements of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
