Tesco is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join the Risk & Compliance team in Reigate. You will help shape the risk framework, support ORSA activities, and oversee financial, capital, reserving and insurance risks.

This is a high-visibility role interfacing with Finance, Pricing and Underwriting. You will develop risk appetite & tolerances, perform stress testing, and provide insightful risk reporting to governance bodies, while ensuring regulatory alignment and robust controls across the

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record in risk management.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and data analysis.
• Competent at review and report writing.
• Broad understanding of UK general insurers regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise own workload to deliver Finance and Underwriting objectives.
• Collaborate with Risk & Compliance and first line teams in Finance & Underwriting.
• Contribute to defining the organisation's Insurance & Financial risk appetite and limits.
• Assist ORSA processes including stress testing and ORSA reporting.
• Provide second line of defence oversight and challenge to the business.
