Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Project Manager to work in London on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in project management, strong leadership abilities, and ideally experience in the insurance or financial services sector. This role involves collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.

Job description

Location: Hybrid - 2/3 days per week in London

Responsibilities:

• Strong project management skills with experience working across functional workstreams inc. Finance, risk & compliance, Legal & governance, Tech & Data and HR to drive business maturity and operational effectiveness.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- able to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive project success.
• Able to think clearly and present ideas and plan in a concise and effective manner.
• Experience of working and leading project teams including but not limited to, third parties, internal technology teams and Business SMEs.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Insurance / Financial Services experience as well as an understanding of the MGA model is highly preferred.
