Job description

I am looking for an Insurance Manager to support a Local Authority in Lancashire on an initial interim basis for 3-6 months.

They have someone in post leaving at the end of August and need someone to start ahead of time for an appropriate length of handover.
Speaking to the manager this morning, local government experience is not essential.
A lot of the work will be around pending Construction and Development projects in the area - they also have high risk buildings left empty at the minute.
They do not receive many liability claims, and are looking for someone with sound Insurance knowledge who can follow up Insurance actions.
To confirm, it is a stand-alone role.
They are hoping for a temp to perm agreement after an initial 3-6 months.

You will be required onsite at 1-2 times a week.
