Job summary

Stride Resource Management Ltd seeks a Group Insurance Manager to oversee global programmes and partner with the Head of Insurance as their number two. You will coordinate risk, claims and renewal decisions for overseas operations and lead renewals with brokers and insurers across Cyber, Financial Lines, Crime and other classes.

The role requires a strong multinational insurance background, high technical competence, and the ability to challenge and advise at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Multinational/international insurance experience is essential.
• Strong technical grounding in corporate insurance; the confidence to challenge, advise and negotiate when required.
• This could suit an experienced Account Manager, Client Manager or Corporate Broker with multinational insurance experience who is ready for greater responsibility.

We are recruiting a Group Insurance Manager for a major international business (£2 billion+ turnover) operating across several countries in the secure logistics sector.

This is large-scale insurance. The Group's premiums run into tens of millions, with multinational programmes placed through a leading global broker. You will work alongside the Head of Insurance, acting as their number two and taking ownership of selected areas of the programme.

The role will involve:

• Managing selected global insurance programmes day to day
• Coordinating risk, exposure and claims information from overseas operations
• Analysing data and using it to support renewal and placement decisions
• Leading parts of renewals and negotiating with brokers and insurers
• Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers and insurance markets
• Supporting significant or complex claims
• Reviewing coverage, policy requirements and emerging risks

• Working across classes including Cyber, Financial Lines, Crime, Professional Indemnity and Specie

Ideal background:

• Multinational/international insurance experience is essential
• You do not need to be an expert in every class. You will, however, need a strong technical grounding in corporate insurance and the confidence to challenge, advise and negotiate when required
• This could suit an experienced Account Manager, Client Manager or Corporate Broker with multinational insurance experience who is ready for greater responsibility
