Insurance Data Manager

Job Summary

For our London Office, we are seeking an Insurance Data Manager to lead a team of Data & Analytics developers across the UK and Italy. The candidate will also leverage their professional network to support Fincons in expanding its presence in the UK Insurance industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Design the Data & Analytics (D&A) strategy and architecture for a primary Corporate & Commercial insurance client, including estimating the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) budget.
2. Establish themselves as the IT authority for operational and strategic aspects of D&A.
3. Enhance the effectiveness and quality of deliverables of existing D&A teams working on maintenance and projects for the insurance client.
4. Build relationships with client’s business lines, countries, and internal teams to improve the perception of the D&A team within the client organization.
5. Support the Account Manager in developing new business opportunities with existing insurance clients.
6. Leverage professional networks to acquire new insurance clients in the UK.

Qualifications and Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in IT consulting for Insurance clients in the UK market, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience leading Data & Analytics teams.
• Experience with IT maintenance and/or projects utilizing Data & Analytics tools such as Alteryx, MS Power BI, MS Fabric on Azure cloud, SAP Business Objects.
• Ability to develop relationships with new clients.
• Proactive attitude, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
