A public sector client seeks an Insurance & Claims Officer to manage and investigate insurance claims in a temporary, office-based role at City Hall. Candidates should have 2-3 years of related experience, especially in liability and personal injury claims. This position requires professionalism and proficiency with ICT applications.
Our public sector client is looking for an Insurance & Claims Officer to join them on a temporary basis.
Location – LE1
Role is office based at City Hall, working 5 days per week. Hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 16:30 Friday, with one hour for lunch.
This role is within the in-house claims handling team for the Council. Ideally, candidates will have a minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience.
We are seeking a candidate with liability and personal injury experience related to negligence policies such as public liability, employers liability, or motor.
Purpose of the role:
To investigate and recommend actions on insurance claims brought against the council, especially those that are disputed or potentially fraudulent.
