A highly regarded company in the insurance sector is seeking an Operational Motor Claims Manager to oversee their motor and public liability claims department. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring efficient claims processing, team leadership, and regulatory compliance while managing a fleet of approximately 3000 vehicles. Ideal candidates will possess significant experience in claims management, a thorough understanding of insurance laws, and strong leadership qualities.
Salary l £38,000-£42,000 depending on experience
Hours l Monday – Friday 37.5 hours
Job Purpose
The purpose of the Operational Motor Claims Manager role is to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the motor and public liability claims department, ensuring efficient processing, timely resolution, and high-quality service delivery for a fleet of circa 3000.
The Motor Claims Manager will lead the management of motor vehicle and public liability insurance claims. The role involves overseeing all aspects of claims handling—from notification to settlement—while ensuring efficient processes, regulatory compliance, and strategic cost control.
You will act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders, insurers, brokers, legal teams, and third parties to ensure all claims are handled effectively and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
