Job description

Our client is seeking an individual with entry level CII Professional qualification, or a willingness to obtain this, to select, sell and service General Insurance products to meet client needs. Responsibilities include:

  1. Liaising and negotiating with underwriters and/or approved insurers to obtain appropriate policy cover and terms.
  2. Developing and maintaining own knowledge and skills to sell and service products professionally and compliantly.
  3. Delivering a consistently 5* experience to clients.
  4. Reviewing and evaluating risks in accordance with own underwriting authority limits.
  5. Proposing and negotiating policy terms to ensure a fair outcome for clients whilst meeting the long term financial objectives of insurers.
  6. Ensuring good teamwork and relationships.
  7. Delivering projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of operating in a busy, customer focused environment, either face to face or via the telephone. Experience of sales and the achievement of results in a targeted environment is desirable.
