Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in Household and Personal Lines, ideally in non-standard and HNW.
  • Strong technical insurance knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Job description

Location: Hartlip, Sittingbourne (Potentially moving to Rainham, Kent)

Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Insurance Broker to join our client's team. This role offers a competitive salary, a range of benefits, and the opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, handling inquiries, new business quotations, MTAs, and renewals.
  2. Build strong relationships with key clients and insurer partners.
  3. Underwrite large household risks within your authority.
  4. Contribute to the team's success by achieving business plan objectives.
  5. Maintain accurate records on our Acturis system.
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in Household and Personal Lines, ideally in non-standard and HNW.
  2. Strong technical insurance knowledge.
  3. Excellent communication and client service skills.
  4. Strong negotiation and broking skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  7. Previous experience with Acturis is desirable but not essential.
  8. Full UK driving license.
  9. Minimum 6 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths (Grade A-C).
  10. CII qualifications are desirable.
