About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-connected and commercially astute Placement Broker to join a growing New Business team. Based across offices in Manchester and Leeds, the role will involve working closely with Account Executives to place a variety of commercial risks, including complex and non-standard cases, into the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with a broad panel of insurers to secure competitive terms for new business.

Collaborate with Account Executives to understand client requirements and risk profiles.

Negotiate placement of risks across a wide range of commercial insurance lines.

Identify appropriate markets and products for more challenging or unusual risks.

Keep up to date with market developments, insurer appetite and pricing movements.

About You:

A well-established network within the UK commercial insurance market, with strong relationships across major and niche insurers.

Experience in placing complex or hard-to-place risks.

Commercially aware with a solid understanding of policy coverage, insurer expectations, and underwriting requirements.

A team-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Willingness to travel between Manchester and Leeds offices and attend client and insurer meetings where required.
