What you’ll do (the role)

This key role sits within the Investment Management team providing support on insurance programs globally.

Overall assistance in managing Construction and Operational insurances for Solar PV projects and Corporate insurances.

1. Assist with managing insurance claims at project (property damage, business interruption) and corporate levels (Employers & Public Liability, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers, Office, Stock, Fleet, etc.).
2. Assist in negotiating the renewal of the business insurance portfolio.
3. Review Minimum Insurance Requirements in Financing/Facility Agreements.
4. Manage the renewal process at project and corporate levels to ensure high retention aligned with plans.
5. Handle mid-term adjustments to project and corporate insurances.
6. Maintain insurance documentation: policies, endorsements, invoices, covering letters.
7. Gather information globally for the annual renewal process.
8. Work closely with Brokers, Insurers, and Stakeholders to maintain relationships.

Who we’re looking for

Knowledge

• Technical knowledge of insurance.
• Experience in insurance management, underwriting, claims management, or broking, especially for global organizations, is preferred.
• Understanding of insurance requirements in the renewable energy sector, preferably solar, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of insurance policy drafting and key case law is beneficial.
• Experience with large, complex Construction and Operational insurance placements is an advantage.
• Experience managing insurance claims is desirable.

Qualifications

• ACII or working towards it.
• Or a degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
