INSURANCE ADVISOR / INSURANCE CONSULTANT

Salary: Basic salary up to £25,500 / OTE up to £30,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

Permanent

Hybrid working (office based in Birmingham) – Currently 1 day in the office per week

Your role:

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a New Business Insurance Consultant / Insurance Advisorwho has previous industry experience, preferably providing tailored advice and quotations to customers for Motor, Home and/or Travel Insurance with excellent customer service and communication skills.

As a New Business Insurance Consultant/Insurance Advisor working at the heart of the Wesleyan’s General Insurance Department, you will be responsible for providing tailored advice for Motor/Home and Travel Insurance via inbound and outbound calls.

You will have appointments set for you by our Outbound Team, meaning you can use your time efficiently and effectively to ensure our customers are provided with the most exceptional service possible.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing tailored advice to customers for motor, home and travel insurance quotations
  • Processing customer requests with queries and changes to policies
  • Ensuring all customer documentation is sent accurately and completed to an excellent standard
  • Being pro-active in ensuring that the leads passed onto you are followed up efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Working towards targets to ensure the company is delivering the best levels of service to customers
  • You have experience within Insurance (ideally within motor, home or travel)
  • You’ll be comfortable and able to thrive with targets and KPIs
  • It’s all about communication and the customer journey, so you will join us equipped with an outstanding telephone manner
  • You have a great understanding of Insurers and Insurance brokers
  • 28 days annual leave (plus 1 additional “culture day” & bank holidays) – increases to 30 days with 5 years’ service
