Job summary

Howden is seeking an insurance professional to build relationships with clients, deliver clear advice, and manage end-to-end policy administration in a busy advisory role.

You will handle inquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims while meeting compliance standards and CPD requirements. A proactive, service-oriented mindset is essential to grow the client base and promote additional solutions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience handling client interactions in person or by phone.
• Target-driven with sales experience.
• Ability to explain insurance products clearly.
• Proficient with digital tools and CRM systems.
• Basic understanding of insurance regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients in person, by phone, or email.
• Manage daily activities to maximise availability for inbound and outbound calls.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Provide exceptional client service and ensure understanding of insurance needs.
• Ensure advice is clear and tailored to client needs for informed decisions.
• Administer insurance products and manage sales/ servicing administration.
• Renew policies on time within the renewal process.
• Support mid-term adjustments to policies.
• Handle claims swiftly and keep clients and insurers informed.
• Adhere to compliance standards and CPD requirements.
• Act as ambassador for Howden and the local branch.
• Promote additional products and referrals during interactions.
