Job summary

Hamilton Fraser, part of HFIS Limited, is looking for a proactive person to join our Cosmetic Insurance team. You will provide quotations, secure new business and renewals, and support customer service excellence.

This role offers opportunities to progress toward Cert CII and work in a dynamic insurance environment. The position is office-based with rotational remote working possibilities, full-time hours (37.5 per week), reporting to the Cosmetic Lead.

Qualifications

• Experience in an insurance environment is essential.
• Excellent written and spoken English with sound maths.
• Sales-focused approach with strong customer service.
• Progress toward Cert CII qualification.
• Strong inter-personal and telephone communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships.
• Performing tasks relating to Cosmetic Insurance (quotations, renewals, new business).
• Developing professional relationships with insurer partners and third parties.
• Assisting with preparation and attendance at events and exhibitions.
• Ensuring documentation is issued and actions comply with FCA regulations.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a customer-focused and highly motivated individual to join our Cosmetic Insurance team. You’ll be providing quotations and securing new business and renewals, so experience of working in an insurance environment is essential, along with a proven sales approach and excellent customer service skills.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is working towards their Cert CII qualification.

Some of the things you'll get up to:

• Maintaining and enhancing existing Client relationships
• Performing tasks relating to our Cosmetic Insurance product (including securing policy renewals, providing quotations and securing new business)
• Actively developing and maintaining professional relationships with insurer partners, affiliates and other third parties
• Helping with the preparation of events and exhibitions and attending these when needed
• Making sure all documentation is issued, and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations

We’d like you to have:

• Experience in an insurance environment is essential
• Excellent level of written and spoken English with sound maths skills
• A sales focused approach whilst ensuring that excellent customer service and advice is provided at all times
• Desire to progress toward Cert CII qualification
• Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others
• Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-moving environment
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new systems and processes as needed
• The ability to meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload
• The ability to work within a team environment and to assist team members where required
