This growing commercial brokerage is looking to appoint an Account Executive who can bring or build a book - offering full support, genuine flexibility, and a commission structure that climbs all the way to 35% on new business.

Location: Scotland or North of England
Salary: Up to £60,000 + up to 35% NB bonus
Job Type: Hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office, 2 from home – flexible with client visits)

With strong insurer relationships and a highly collaborative team, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Account Executive who can focus on driving new business and developing long-term relationships.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and secure new commercial clients across a range of sectors
* Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and insurers
* Work closely with Account Handlers and internal support teams to deliver excellent service
* Tailor insurance programmes across various commercial classes, depending on client need
* Manage your own diary, including client visits, renewal meetings, and strategy sessions

About You:

* Proven track record in commercial insurance—broking or client-facing
* Strong appetite for new business development
* Comfortable advising clients across a broad range of commercial covers
* Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Based anywhere in Scotland or the North of England
