Insurance Account Executive | Scotland/North of England | Up to £60,000 + Bonus | Hybrid Working

Are you a new business exec looking for real autonomy and one of the best bonus structures in the market?
This growing commercial brokerage is looking to appoint an Account Executive who can bring or build a book - offering full support, genuine flexibility, and a commission structure that climbs all the way to 35% on new business.

Location: Scotland or North of England
Salary: Up to £60,000 + up to 35% NB bonus
Job Type: Hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office, 2 from home - flexible with client visits)

This well-established brokerage operates across all commercial lines and has built a reputation for delivering tailored insurance solutions for clients ranging from SMEs to large corporates.With strong insurer relationships and a highly collaborative team, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Account Executive who can focus on driving new business and developing long-term relationships.

Role Overview:
Whether you already have a loyal client base or you're ready to start building your own book, this is a chance to join a forward-thinking brokerage that rewards performance without micromanagement.
You'll have full access to a high-performing broking and support team, allowing you to focus on what you do best - winning and growing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new commercial clients across a range of sectors
  • Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and insurers
  • Work closely with Account Handlers and internal support teams to deliver excellent service
  • Tailor insurance programmes across various commercial classes, depending on client need
  • Manage your own diary, including client visits, renewal meetings, and strategy sessions

About You:

  • Proven track record in commercial insurance—broking or client-facing
  • Strong appetite for new business development
  • Comfortable advising clients across a broad range of commercial covers
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Based anywhere in Scotland or the North of England
