Job description

Motivated I&E Maintenance Technicians and Instrumentation Electrical Technicians

Our top-tier COMAH specialist engineering client based in Hampshire is seeking skilled I&E Maintenance Technicians and Instrumentation Electrical Technicians. In return, we offer an excellent salary package circa £45,000-£50,000+ depending on skills and experience, plus overtime and outstanding benefits including a large annual company bonus, generous holidays, a 10% contributory pension scheme, and a gym allowance within a well-established, reputable, and growing company.

Role Overview

This challenging role is suitable for maintenance technicians with strong electrical, instrumentation, and I&E maintenance experience, particularly within large production plant industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, live process plant, nuclear, hazardous live sites, and refinery process plants.

Candidate Requirements
  • Relevant maintenance experience on equipment related to installed instrumentation and/or electrical systems.
  • Electrical or Instrumentation qualifications (apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3, ONC in Electrical, Electrical or Instrument & Control Engineering) with good knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Understanding of plant operations within large production or high-risk industries.
  • Desirable: Experience with DSEAR / ATEX regulations, High Voltage electrical systems, and HV pressure lines.
Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the role involves carrying out corrective (non-routine) and preventative (routine) electrical and instrumentation maintenance, modifications, and supporting operations at the production facilities.
