Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Stockport seeks an Instrumentation Technician to join an SME engineering team. You will assemble, test and calibrate electro-mechanical instruments used in the water industry, following drawings and ISO9001 procedures.

Travel to customer sites across the UK is expected on occasion, with a focus on quality records, maintenance of service kits, and supporting product servicing and remote assistance as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or experience in electronics, electrical or electro-mechanical discipline.
• Excellent eye for quality and ability to follow processes with a high precision.
• Ability to travel and work on customer sites around the UK – Full driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and testing of production products
• Following build instructions and engineering drawings to achieve our high-quality standards
• Help maintain high-quality records and meet production standards
• Calibrating and Testing products in line with ISO9001 testing regimes
• Maintenance of service kits and equipment
• Servicing of products on customer sites
• Assist in remote support of customers
• Providing Health and Safety information to the customer as necessary
