Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder in Birmingham is seeking an Instrumentation Service Engineer to perform on-site calibration contracts, troubleshooting and support at customer premises. The role includes workshop and office duties at the Witton facility and requires independent work with occasional teamwork on-site.

A structured training programme will develop instrumentation and calibration knowledge, with regular salary reviews and bonus potential for large contracts.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of electrical circuits.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to converse confidently with customers face to face.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site calibration contracts, troubleshooting and call outs at customer premises.
• Build electrical control panels.
• Carry out workshop repairs.
• Test temperature sensors.
• Complete reports and calibration certificates.
• Explain technical findings and recommendations to customers.
• Assist with office administration at the Witton facility.
• Occasional delivery duties.
• Travel UK-wide, with some work in Ireland.
• Attend regular customer sites as required.
