£26,711 - £37,977 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

BMT is experiencing a significant increase in demand and needs great new teachers to help ensure that all young musicians can flourish. They have multiple opportunities available, all roles will commence in September, with the possibility of an earlier start if appropriate. Roles can be tailored by area and the amount of teaching desired by candidates, which will be discussed at interview. Once part of BMT, there will be more opportunities to engage in ensembles, projects, and music centres.

We are looking for these areas:
  • Whole Class Practical Musicianship in primary schools – all instruments
  • Upper & lower strings tuition
  • Flute tuition (able to teach other woodwind at lower levels)
  • Vocal tuition
  • KS3/4 classroom teaching in secondary schools
