Spirit Energy is seeking an Instrument Technician for Barrow Gas Terminal, UK. The role supports maintenance and repair of gas processing plants, with a 9-Day fortnight and a core contract until ceasing production around 2028.
You will conduct routine and complex maintenance, support commissioning/decommissioning, and ensure safe operations with proper permits and documentation. The role requires relevant qualification and strong safety mindset.

The terminal has played a long-standing role in processing and delivering natural gas, supporting both local employment and national energy supply. Required to undertake engineering maintenance and defect repair tasks, ensuring the reliability and scheduled availability of operational plant and equipment associated with gas production/processing. Duration: Core contract role required until Cease of Plant Production (est 2028). Location: Barrow Gas Terminal. Rotation/Hours: 9-Day fortnight, 9 hours paid per day. Holidays: 33 paid per annum. Rate: PAYE dayrate – TBC, please state expectation. Please be aware that travel/accommodation is not covered. Overtime and On call payment in addition.
