Salary: £41,900 for the first 6 months, then rises to £43,300 on the successful completion of 6-month probation
Hours: 39 hours a week, circa 08:00am to 4:00pm. Overtime paid at 1.3 & 1.6

Our client is a leading Fortune 500 Company, looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Instrument Technician to join the team based at Billingham Manufacturing site. The Maintenance Team is at the center of their industry-leading safety and reliability. The Maintenance Team works with their Engineering teams to ensure that their facilities remain best-in-class. Every day, they solve problems across our sites to keep the plants performing exceptionally.
On successful appointment, you will undertake routine maintenance and perform fault finding and repairs on all aspects of instrumentation. You will perform the installation and commissioning of plant modifications and improvement projects both online and during turnarounds and events to maintain plant online availability, resolve defects, and complete routines on time.

Essential Requirements - Experience:
An integral aspect of the Instrumentation Technician role is the ability to locate and identify faults in a timely manner to restore plant and equipment to acceptable conditions. A wide range of possible equipment and systems requires a good knowledge of, and the ability to effectively use, a diverse range of test and measuring equipment. Instrumentation Technicians need a good understanding of engineering theory, the functions of components within systems, and the effect of system operation failures.
