Job Description

We are seeking a Site Instrument Engineer to join a leading Global Operator based in Hampshire. The role involves working on cutting-edge projects in the Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Spearhead the design, maintenance, and optimization of process control and safety systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
2. Collaborate with the Engineering Department to review, plan, and execute tasks that reduce the project backlog.
3. Identify areas for plant enhancements and create detailed project scopes and timelines.
4. Lead the design and integration of new safety systems as part of key capital projects.
5. Take ownership of the specification, testing, and commissioning of SIS and control system upgrades.
6. Deliver critical documentation such as SIL verification calculations, SIL reports, and Safety Requirement Specifications.

Essential Qualifications:

• Solid experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong understanding of operational processes.
• HNC qualification or equivalent.
