Job Description:

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Instrument Designer on a permanent basis, based in the Northwest, specifically the Cheshire area. The role involves working within the pharmaceutical industry with a hybrid work model: 3 days on-site and the remaining days working from home. The salary will be commensurate with experience, and candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant design experience.

Responsibilities include reviewing and assessing customer needs, providing resource estimates for design activities, working independently or in a team, liaising with client representatives, and supporting the delivery of projects within time, quality, and budget constraints.

Requirements include experience with AutoCAD LT, ATEX, and Functional Safety standards IEC 61508 / IEC 61511. The role also involves producing 2D design deliverables, gas and equipment layouts, and cable/containment routing diagrams.

The right to work in the UK must be established.
