We’re currently seeking a motivated Instrument Build Technician to join our Engineering team in Oxford. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and pack high-quality devices in a controlled production setting.
  • Follow operational procedures and health & safety policies.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing records and maintain traceability.
  • Respond efficiently to production quality issues using standard procedures.
  • Collaborate with production leads and engineers to resolve build issues and suggest improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with production upgrades.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace.
  • Manage stock control and complete transactions accurately during production.
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Skilled in assembling complex electromechanical products.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electronic engineering processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in Maths & English (required).
  • Relevant engineering qualification (desirable).
