Instructor Technician in Motor Vehicle

Location: Warwickshire
Hours: 37 per week
Start: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £20 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE)

The Role An Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Warwickshire is seeking a Workshop Technician to support practical motor vehicle training up to Level 3. You'll help prepare the workshop, support learners, and assess their practical work using the IMI E-Portfolio system.

What You Need

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
• Recent industry experience in a motor vehicle environment
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures
• Experience supporting or training learners (desirable)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped workshop
• Instruct learners during practical sessions up to Level 3
• Conduct tool and equipment checks; arrange repairs as needed
• Mark and assess learner work via IMI E-Portfolio
• Support broader workshop and departmental operations
