Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic and positive person to join our SEND team at our Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a full time (37 hours), term time only basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between ££24,854 - £29,404 per annum(actual salary of £21,596 - £25,550 per annum), plus staff benefits.

About the role:

To fulfil your role, you will be expected to work in different commercial catering working areas at St. John's College. Also, to work in different areas within Cambridge Regional College including the training kitchen.

You will be responsible for delivering catering and assigned other qualification materials at Entry level to Level1 based on given scheme of works.

Agile working

This role will require you to work face-to-face with our SEN students at the commercial catering premises of St. John's College and the premises within Cambridge Regional College including the training kitchen.

What we are looking for in our role:

We are looking for a reliable and responsible applicant who holds a minimum of L2 chef qualification or/and has a had experience in working at commercial kitchen environment.

Who has gained, working towards or willing to complete the L3 Award in Education and Training qualification and committed to strictly follow the Health and Safety and Food Hygiene and Safety rules/policies while working with students.

The preferred applicant has the minimum of L2 standard in maths and English and previous experience in working with SEND students. Experience of delivering training and assessment at entry level to Level1.

We will expect you to undertake and maintain the L2 Food Hygiene and Safety certificate that is an essential requirement while working in commercial catering environment.
