Position: Secondary Vocational Instructor (SEMH School)

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time

Salary: £24,000 per annum

The Headteacher is seeking to appoint an aspiring Instructor to join this thriving SEMH School. Reporting to the Headteacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and supporting the department's success. We seek an enthusiastic, flexible, and determined individual who shares our values and wants to develop their career in this specialist area.

Person Specification:

  • Understanding of teaching, learning, and qualifications.
  • Experience working in non-mainstream settings with challenging learners.
  • Ability to empathize and support learner development.
  • Robust understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.
  • Good educational background (Teaching qualification, ideally Level 2 in Mathematics and English or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and delivery skills.
  • Reliable, flexible, adaptable, and able to motivate and inspire.
