Brief

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to support our Head of Leadership Development and Design. The purpose of the role is to develop visually appealing, quality content that facilitates learners to acquire knowledge and skills effectively. A significant aspect of this role will be producing visually appealing PowerPoint decks. We are looking for someone with design expertise, creative flair, confidence, flexibility, and ownership for results and relationships.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Producing PowerPoint decks, bringing fresh ideas to enhance the visual appeal.
  2. Developing instructional end goals and creating content to match them.
  3. Applying tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
  4. Developing assessment instruments and deciding on the criteria used to judge learner performance.
  5. Assisting with post-programme analysis, measuring the success of initiatives.
  6. Setting up 360-degree feedback surveys and generating reports.
  7. Supporting with post-programme survey results analysis to evaluate programme impact and producing reports.
  8. Providing general administrative support, including facilitator guides, survey creation, scheduling upskilling calls with associates, arranging client meetings, and sending Teams/Zoom invitations.
  9. Attending client meetings to take minutes and ensure smooth meeting coordination.

Essential Requirements

  1. Experience in instructional design.
  2. Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  3. Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  4. Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and audio/video scripts.
  5. Visual creativity, ability to bring creative flair to our decks.
  6. Psychology (or related) degree.

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5 PM

Place of Work: Hybrid (with 2-3 days per week in the Reigate office)

Salary: 30 – 50K
