Calex, a specialist training and consultancy organisation partnering with leading automotive manufacturers, is seeking an Instructional Designer to join the Commercial Training team at the Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.

If you possess demonstrable skills in designing engaging, immersive, and performance-enhancing learning, and have innovative ideas for creating next-generation training content, this role could be ideal for you.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful and forward-thinking automotive organization, contributing to the training programs for Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Design a variety of learning assets, including virtual classrooms, webinars, self-study programs, e-learning, face-to-face courses, how-to videos, assessments, and social, collaborative, and community learning.
• Regionalize training content from global teams and apply local brand guidelines to international content.
• Collaborate with management and other key personnel to support VWG partnership, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

• Experience in instructional design, including knowledge of learning theories and design models.
• Skills in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5, and Flash programming.
• Storyboarding and graphic design abilities.
• Stakeholder engagement skills to understand requirements and develop effective learning solutions.
• Knowledge of AI, VR, AR, and metaverse environments (desired).
• Creativity, initiative, and independence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Adobe, and e-learning development tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and copywriting skills.
• Organizational skills, responsibility, and resilience.

Salary & Benefits
