Job description

Responsible for the design of highly engaging learning that develops the performance levels within the engineering sector.

Ensure learning effectiveness and demonstrable business impact by designing all learning using the ADDIE model.

Key activities include:

  1. Designing and delivering learning interventions in accordance with the design criteria, required standards, and design schedule.
  2. Liaising with key subject matter experts, such as Technology Managers, Senior Research Engineers, and Technicians within the MTC Group and its Members.
  3. Liaising with Members and customers to identify their business and people performance requirements through learning needs analysis.
  4. Designing and developing training material using various methodologies that deliver measurable performance improvements. The methodologies may include:
    1. Face-to-face courses
    2. Virtual classrooms and webinars
    3. Self-study programmes
    4. ‘Application of learning’ assignments
    5. Aide-memoirs
    6. Instructional / How-to videos
    7. e-Learning modules (specifying and project managing providers)
  5. Loading and testing all material onto the Learning Management System.
  6. Facilitating the delivery of pilot training courses with the Trainer / Subject Matter Expert.
