Instore Media Manager

Full Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Company Bonus Structure

Location: Hybrid – Home - Leeds HQ – 2 days a week/Client, supplier or partner offices – as required, expected average 1 day a week

Are you a natural problem solver with a sharp eye for operational detail and a passion for retail media innovation?

We’re GIG Retail — a team of experts dedicated to turning data and strategy into smart retail media solutions. Right now, we’re looking for an Instore Media Manager to lead the integration of new instore media formats across a fast-paced retail environment.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of project delivery, innovation, and stakeholder management — perfect for someone who can turn bold ideas into scalable solutions, while keeping the customer experience front and centre.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the Instore Media Roadmap – Execute the vision, drive delivery, and bring new media ideas from pilot to in-store implementation.
  • Drive Innovation – Identify, test, and launch new formats. From print and sampling to digital audio, helping to enhance the retail experience.
  • Be the Glue – Work cross-functionally with vendors, install teams, store operations and internal stakeholders to ensure everything lands smoothly.
  • Think Commercially – Use campaign data and performance insights to refine the proposition and drive ongoing optimisation.
  • Own the Detail – Manage end-to-end media projects, from planning through to activation, with a focus on operational excellence.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in instore or out-of-home media, either on the supplier, agency, or client side.
  • A background in operations or project management, especially in delivering complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Highly organised and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, understanding how to engage teams across marketing and operations.
  • Exposure to print vendors or in-house media environments.
  • Confident in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel — knowledge of Power BI is a bonus.
