Overview:

Our client seeks a driven and commercially astute Salesperson to join their Fund FX Desk in London. The successful candidate will focus on originating and managing relationships with institutional clients across the private capital landscape, including Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, and Real Estate funds. You will be responsible for delivering bespoke FX solutions tailored to complex fund structures, managing currency risk, and helping clients optimise returns through strategic hedging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate and build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, and Managing Partners of institutional investment firms.
• Generate and convert leads through a mix of outbound sales, cold calling, industry networking, and creative outreach strategies.
• Understand and advise on complex fund structures and their associated FX exposures across investment lifecycles.
• Deliver tailored FX risk management strategies using spot, forward, options, and structured derivative products.
• Maintain deep knowledge of macroeconomic trends and regulatory changes affecting fund clients (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II).
• Ensure high service levels across the client onboarding, credit approval, execution, and post-trade lifecycle.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience selling FX solutions to institutional clients—especially within Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, and Real Estate.
• Demonstrable success in revenue generation through outbound sales, cold calling, and proactive lead sourcing.
• In-depth understanding of FX markets, derivatives, and hedging strategies using forwards and options.
• Strong client relationship management, with a consultative, solution-led sales approach.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of exceeding commercial targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Existing network of fund decision-makers and intermediaries across the UK and Europe.
• Commercially creative, with the ability to identify emerging client needs and structure relevant solutions.
• A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
