  • Ability to effectively partner with members of the Institutional Capital, product management, investor relations, marketing and operations teams and other functional groups.
  • Balance multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines and demonstrate Blue Owl's teamwork-based approach.
  • Directly support Institutional Capital fundraising efforts and ongoing client service through product marketing and investment & operational due diligence processes. This may include, helping curate and manage, ad hoc investor requests, due diligence questionnaires ("DDQs") and requests for proposals ("RFPs") across multiple products.
  • Assist with preparation of follow-up items related to client and prospect interactions as well as coordination ahead of meetings with required preparations for meeting attendees.
  • Cultivate a strong working relationship with Product Specialists and subject matter experts across the firm to keep abreast of updates and new developments across product lines.
  • Be familiar with and able to communicate details around fund products and strategies including investment level information.
  • CRM maintenance to ensure investor information, opportunity detail, historical dialogue and using tasks are tracked clearly and monitored continuously.
  • Assist with conference and event planning, management and execution.

Qualifications/ Key Skills:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in financial services. Candidates with backgrounds in asset management, private markets, and investment banking preferred, but not required.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, quantitative skills and a collaborative team-based approach to tasks.
  • This candidate will need to develop strong working relationships with nearly all business units across the firm to help coordinate and manage client requests, projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Organized approach to tasks and strong time management capabilities to meet deadlines for multiple tasks and projects with similar and often quick turnaround timelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office Suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Prior knowledge of CRM software is helpful but not required (including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc).
