Overview

First Military Recruitment is seeking an Installations Engineer on behalf of a client. The successful candidate will focus on the physical setup of hardware and initial software installation at client sites.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test hardware systems, including networking devices, PCs, mobile devices, AV, and telephony equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure installations meet high standards for performance and reliability.
• Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshoot issues during installation.
• Provide feedback and documentation to support escalation processes.
• Maintain professionalism and customer service on site.
• Participate in training to stay updated on technologies and techniques.
• Log all on-site work accurately in the project management system.

Skills and Qualifications:

• HND or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g., Computer Science, IT).
• Relevant industry certifications and proven implementation experience.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Experience in installing and configuring IT and telecom equipment.
