Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to cover domestic heating and hot water installations on a large housing contract in Salisbury. You will install boilers, heating systems, unvented cylinders, and test systems, ensuring compliance with Gas Safety and Building Regulations.

A valid Gas Safe registration and 2+ years’ experience are required. The role is full-time, with 40 hours per week, salary £40,000–£45,000 plus overtime, company van and pension, plus 29 days

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration with valid CCN1, CENWAT and CKR1.
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification.
• Minimum 2 years domestic installation experience.
• Knowledge of S-plan/Y-plan heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace domestic gas boilers, heating systems and unvented hot water cylinders.
• Complete pipework, radiators, heating controls and system wiring.
• Commission and test systems, including flushing and chemical treatment.
• Work safely and in line with Gas Safety, Building and Water Regulations.
• Complete accurate job records and handover documentation.
• Deliver a high standard of workmanship within occupied residential properties.
• Some travel to wider contract areas will be required.

Full-time Permanent 40 hours per week

We re looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join an established team, carrying out domestic heating and hot water installations across a large housing contract.

Duties of the Installations Engineer:

• Install and replace domestic gas boilers, heating systems and unvented hot water cylinders


• Complete pipework, radiators, heating controls and system wiring


• Commission and test systems, including flushing and chemical treatment


• Work safely and in line with Gas Safety, Building and Water Regulations


• Complete accurate job records and handover documentation


• Deliver a high standard of workmanship within occupied residential properties


• Some travel to wider contract areas will be required

Requirements for the role:
