What is the job about?

As the Installation Assistant you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience and fostering long-term relationships with our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and staff to facilitate the pre-installation survey and subsequent installation itself including completion of all associated paperwork.

What exactly will you do?

  • Client Liaison.
  • Understanding clients’ requirements and build installation plans that suit their needs.
  • Scope projects and provide detailed plans and options for implementation (including pricing).
  • Monitor and support the delivery of work from electrical engineers, providing support to the Senior Electrician and their management of remote engineers.
  • Co-ordinate installations including stock, tools, staffing as well as health & safety requirements.

What we’re looking for

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising and managing multiple initiatives at once to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a customer service or customer support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive computer literacy including proficient use of MS Office tools.
  • Excellent Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour, capable of adapting communication style to various customer needs.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to identify customer needs, think critically, and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues when necessary.

Bonus points

  • Experience of installation administration.
  • Experience in delivering electrical projects for multiple clients.
  • Experience of full project lifecycle from concept, scoping and requirements definition through to successful delivery and closure.
